Pastor, Atonement Lutheran Church
Pastor Tim came to Atonement in July of 2022. Prior to ordination, he was a Youth Director for six years; and, as a pastor, has led churches of 2,000 to 4,000 members. He received his B.A. from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota; and his Master of Divinity from Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Pastor Tim is co-pastoring with Pastor Don, and welcomes the opportunity to partner with staff and members to live out Atonement's mission. His passions for ministry are in preaching, teaching, adult ministries, administration, and intergenerational ministries. He is energized in ministry when others grow in faith, and embrace God's unconditional grace and love in their lives.
He is married to Kathy, and they have two children: A.J. and Lauryn. He enjoys sports, music, travel, and cooking.
Meet the Pastors
Pastor, Atonement Lutheran Church
Pastor Don came to Atonement in January, 1999. Prior to becoming a pastor, he worked in business to business sales for three technology companies. He attended seminary at the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago and also has degrees from Southern Methodist University in Texas and Northwestern's Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
At Atonement, his primary responsibilities are leading a very able staff and volunteer leadership core, and carrying half of the teaching schedule during Sunday services. He is humbled by the gifts and passion of Atonement's members and within the wider community, and welcomes the challenge of leading through influence.
Pastor Don is married to Joy Wink. They have three children: Natalie, Josh and Olivia. Their household also includes Joy's mother, Barbara, and two absolutely useless cats. He enjoys cooking, maintaining health and fitness (especially through golf and paddle tennis), music, and time with friends.
