Atonement Christian Day School is excited to offer your little learners extra opportunities!
Enrichment is first come first serve with limited enrollment.  There is a minimum of 6 per class to run. These courses are ideal for part day pre-school students or ELC students to help increase stamina and encourage exploration and socialization. All classes are taught by experienced instructors. There is no nap or rest time in this program. All enrichment courses include a catered lunch and daily recess in our full-sized gymnasium and 2 state of the art playgrounds.

Fall 

Kinder Enrichment
This program is selective enrollment only!

Kinder Enrichment provides a fun and engaging bridge between Pre-K and Kindergarten. This class is ideal for learners who have mastered the Pre-K curriculum and are looking for a challenge to enhance early literacy concepts with kinder curriculum while strengthening skills in a low pressure environment. Our primary focus will be on language arts, reading, math, and STEM activities that will take place both indoors and outside. Confidence building is our ultimate goal: Increasing children's confidence and academic readiness will help promote a life long interest in learning as they transition to elementary school.

Math Matters
In this class we will cover the core math curriculum to help prepare your child for kindergarten in a fun hands on way. Focus on early math concepts, critical thinking and problem solving will be implemented with new concepts reviewed each week.

Book Worms 
Book Worms is all about art, stories and having lots of fun! Students will participate in interactive reads of classic stories with artwork to match!

Little Explorers
Students in this class will investigate the world around them through interaction and exploration enhancing their curiosity and critical thinking. Nature exploration, experiments, construction and inquiry-based projects will be introduced with new themes each week.

Music and Movement
This class will enjoy fun fitness games and musical activities while developing balance, coordination, motor skills and cognitive memory skills.  Students will be exposed to different genres of music and dance with elements of culture infused into a kid friendly, fun and stimulating experience.

Little Chefs
Our littlest chef's will explore the culinary world by following recipes, measuring ingredients and making their own culinary creations all while reading some of our silliest stories about cooking and food.

World Travelers
Bonjour! Hola! Kon’nichiwa! Come tour parts of the world with this class as we dive into lands unknown and lost civilizations. Learn about different cultures while sampling new foods and exploring customs and traditions. We will create our own passports and plan our packing lists keeping in mind the various climates. We hope to visit Europe, Asia, Africa, Central and South America and know we are there by identifying each land’s flag, iconic landscapes or structures and learn some new words in other languages along the way.
